Rock Chip Repair

Although rock chips may appear minor, we strongly recommend our clients to address them as soon as possible, as the damage might spread if left unattended. Rock chip repairs usually take about 15–20 minutes.

With the cost of windshield replacements becoming more expensive, especially on newer vehicles, repairing a rock chip can save you money at a fraction of the price of a new windshield. Your visual clarity will also be restored and you will prevent a potential fix-it ticket from law enforcement. If you have multiple rock chips, we will offer a discount.

Benefits Of Repairing A Rock Chip

In order to fix any cracked windshield, air has to be removed from the damaged area of the windshield with a specified vacuum injection pump. Clear-adhesive resin will then be injected into the damaged area and then cured with an ultraviolet light. Getting the job done properly will not only restore the damaged area’s strength, but also  90–95% of it’s clarity.
